Dr. Manish Viradia received his medical degree from B.J. Medical College, Gujarat University in Ahmedabad, India. He completed
his residency at the University Hospital, State University of New York, in Stony Brook, Long Island. During his residency,
he also served as the Chief Resident. He is Board Certified by the American Medical Association and a Diplomat of Neurophysiology
and Psychology.
Dr. Viradia has completed a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology with specialized training in Nerve conduction studies,
EMGs, EEGs, video EEG monitoring, Botox and trigger point injections, nerve blocks and sleep studies.
In addition to his fellowship, Dr. Viradia has participated in many research studies involving patients with multiple
sclerosis, epilepsy, major depression, panic disorders and bi-polar disorders. His research and clinical findings have been
published in Epilepsia, an international medical trade journal featuring information on research and clinical trials.
His particular interest and expertise is diagnosis and treatment of peripheral neuropathies, headaches, and epilepsy.
He also routinely treats patients with movement and neuromuscular disorders.
